William J.Tasker grew up in New Jersey but moved to New Hampshire at the age of eighteen. After fifteen years in New Hampshire, Tasker moved to the far reaches of northern Maine where the population is slight and natural beauty abounds. Unfortunately, so did winter...all six months of it.
