This beautiful stone tower is on the scenic tour of the Bridges of Madison County. It was a gorgeous drive though the woods to get here. I loved the dark clouds over the tower and the lush green trees around it.
This 25-foot limestone castle tower was built in 1926 and dedicated to Caleb and Ruth Clark, pioneers of Madison County, IA. It is located in the Winterset, IA city park (9th & Washington).
