Description
This image was taken near El Chalten village, Argentina. The highest mountain in the picture is Monte Fitz Roy. It is also called Cerro Chalten. Cerro in Spanish means hill. Chalten in Tehuelche (a Chon language of Patagonia) means smoking, due to the clouds usually hanging around the peak. During our 7 days in El Chalten, we saw a lot different patterns of clouds above Fitz Roy. This was the most dramatic one.
